1. Who We Are
Showroom by Speechbox is operated by Danielle Dafni, Tel Aviv, Israel. We provide a SaaS platform that turns YouTube channels into branded content hubs at speechbox.ai/Showroom and on optional custom domains. Contact: contact@speechbox.ai.
2. Who This Policy Covers
- Tenants: YouTube channel owners who sign up to create their own Showroom.
- Visitors: anyone browsing public Showroom pages.
3. Information We Collect
- Account data: Name, email address, profile picture, Google account ID, collected via Google OAuth at sign-in.
- YouTube channel data: Channel ID, title, handle, and OAuth tokens granting permission to read your channel via the YouTube Data API.
- Video metadata: Titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and durations of videos you choose to include in your Showroom.
- Brand assets: Logos, color preferences, and font preferences you upload.
- Generated content: Transcripts, chapters, highlights, articles, social posts, and translations created from your videos.
- Anonymous play counts: When a visitor plays a video on your public Showroom, we increment a counter. We do not record who played it.
- IP address: Used only in volatile memory for rate-limiting public endpoints. Never stored, never logged.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and provide the Showroom service.
- To process your YouTube videos and generate chapters, articles, and other assets.
- To display your Showroom publicly when you choose to publish it.
- To maintain platform security and prevent abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account.
- To respond to your inquiries.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use your data to train AI models for any party other than serving your own Showroom.
If you make your Showroom public, Speechbox may also feature it on our marketing surfaces (speechbox.ai homepage, social media, sales materials, customer logo wall). This use is governed by Section 6.1 of our Terms of Service and stops automatically when you set your Showroom to private or opt out via Settings.
5. Sub-processors
We work with the following third-party processors:
- Google (OAuth + YouTube Data API) - authentication and YouTube channel access.
- Google Gemini - AI generation of chapters, articles, highlights, and translations.
- AssemblyAI - transcription of your video audio.
- Supabase - database and file storage for tenant data and generated content.
- Vercel - hosting and edge compute.
6. Data Retention
- Active tenant accounts: data retained as long as the account is active.
- Closed tenant accounts: soft-deleted for 30 days, recoverable by request, then permanently purged.
- Transcripts and generated content: retained for the lifetime of your Showroom; deleted when you delete a session or your account.
- Anonymous play counts: aggregated indefinitely with no personal identifiers.
- OAuth tokens: refreshed automatically; revoked when you disconnect your YouTube account in Settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent by disconnecting your YouTube account.

8. Cookies
We use essential session cookies for authentication and CSRF cookies for form security. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics on tenant Showroom content.
9. Children's Privacy
Showroom is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions applying GDPR). If you operate a YouTube channel with content for children, you remain solely responsible for COPPA and similar compliance regarding your content.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security: TLS encryption in transit, encrypted OAuth token storage, server-side ownership checks for every action, and rate limiting on public endpoints. In the event of a data breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.
11. International Transfers
Showroom is operated from Israel and uses processors in the United States and the European Union. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active tenants of material changes by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
