Air Force Vets Unveil Drone Defense Game-Changer!

for drone detection. Uh today, one of the biggest problems in uh in the drone detection world is that low cost problem demands a low cost solution. So you have drones that cost hundreds of dollars and they're able to destroy bases that cost $7 billion and the defense uh mechanism that you can put all cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. So it doesn't work up and people are looking for solutions that can be cost effective. So we built

an acoustic sensor it uh uh uses you know for a drone it has low signature if you look at a radar if you look at it with the RF sensor with the camera you know it doesn't get heated up. So low

signature. The only place where the signature is very high is its noise. It's very very noisy. So we exploit it. We have 50 microphones in here uh that are scattered and we can create a direct direct direction of arrival to the drone and uh we can detect it from very far away from a cost that is sometimes 10 times 20 times uh better than other.

>> And what was the kind of I guess insight the the moment that you realized that this product was necessary uh in the market? you know we were uh we are experts of drone acoustics uh when we've been the experts for many years in Israel and after October 7th we asked ourselves how come you know there are so many systems you can deploy how come no one uh has deployed them and uh we find

out that people say you know it's so expensive I will not defend a quarter of the border because everybody will go from the other side I want to defend only one base because everybody will attack the other base so they end up defending nothing and then we understood

well we can use our experience uh with acoustics to create a solution. So we teamed up uh here with uh strategic uh partners and uh we are delivering this solution to the to Israel and the world >> and and for you what is the I guess the difference about developing uh a defense tech uh technology in Israel versus somewhere else in the world. The benefit

of doing stuff in Israel for us is first of all, you know, we have a very connection to what we do because uh uh we want to prevent the next 7th of October. We want to prevent uh want to defend uh you know, our family and our friends. Uh but uh on top of that, it's uh something that you uh you are able to create. You know, some people they do R&D and they do but they never connect to the field. We are field proven. You know, we've been working, we all came from the Air Force when we've done these things for many years and we developed a field proven acoustic solutions. So for us to uh to do it, you always have the interaction with the field that enables you to create something that's very relevant to what the actual need of the of the defense. >> Fantastic.
