AI's Biggest Gap: Why Predicting the Future is Key!

Zoha, thank you so much for joining us today. >> Hi Amy, it's my pleasure. >> Pleasure to have you. So uh to start us off, could you explain what it is that Pin AI does? >> Of course. Pin AI does predictive AI. So

unlike many other AI technologies out there, Pacin Technology specializes in helping businesses become predictive, kind of taking their historical data and asking questions about future business outcomes. >> What are my customers going to do? How are my revenue going to look like? What constraints am I going to see in my supply chain? any question that a business could have wanted to ask about their future so that they can act accordingly in advance. >> That's so interesting. So, so in terms

of like the gap in the market or in layman's terms the solution that you're offering uh how would you describe describe it? >> Yeah, I would say you know many businesses gather a ton of data and it's very important aspect of their strategy and differentiation. Every business has their own story and their own data. >> Mhm. But our naked human eye can't really make a lot of sense of that data. There's so much data. We can't really understand what it really tells us about our business. >> The ability to crunch all of that into AI and get out of the AI clear answers about what's going to happen is one of the biggest gaps we're trying to fill. Mhm. And so someone who's actively in

this space, I'm interested to hear your opinion about whether uh Israel is is behind lagging at all when it comes to the AI uh revolution and if so, what what the local industry needs to do to kind of uh really participate in this glo global arms race. >> I wouldn't say we are behind. I think the Israeli talent, R&D, engineering, understanding conceptually, scientifically what AI can and can't do and what it can be used for, I think we're quite ahead. >> Mhm. >> Mhm. >> When it comes to pure infrastructure, especially in the aspect of AI that requires very large models that are extremely expensive to train and to use. Here, we could have been a little bit more ahead. It's very hard to maintain these costs over time. But other than that, in other aspects, we're actually in a very good place. >> And for you, what trends in AI are you

most excited about? The The initial hype that we saw with AI a couple of years ago where companies and individuals were so intrigued by the magic that AI shows us has now kind of transformed and evolved into real search for a return on investment. Mhm. >> Companies now are asking, I want to make an investment in AI and I want to make an investment that will pay off in the immediate term. Where can I see real business outcomes? And this is an amazing trend for all of us entrepreneurs because that's our business. We want to leverage AI in a way that really helps companies achieve their goals. >> And and what about the doomsdayers or

the naysayers who are afraid that AI is coming to take all our jobs? So what's your opinion there? >> I I actually hold a very optimistic opinion here. I don't think AI will really replace jobs of any kind. I think we'll see shift and transformation of what is being required from people. But in most cases, you still need a human in the loop. And on the contrary, AI will actually create a lot of additional new avenues for individuals to be productive in the company or in any other setting they work in. So for example, if we come back to the predictive AI, the idea here is that pin makes other individuals who can't really build AI on their own start generating business predictions. So think about it. every person who's now working at a company can plug in their data and all of the sudden see predictions about the business. It's a real empowerment rather than making people obsolete so to speak. >> Right. Fantastic. So, so finally looking forward uh looking ahead what what are things that you're working on that you're most excited about and what's next and AI? >> For pick and AI, I would say we are in

the uh real cycle of growing extremely fast. Everyone in the company heads are spinning and we are trying to help all of our customers realize value as fast as pos possible and that means we need to invest a lot in R&D to make the AI more reliable and more robust. It means we have to invest in go to market and expand to every other region that is relevant. So uh there's a lot of work ahead of us >> right well I'm very excited to see what
